  • Wild Wild Wet

Last Thursday, I took a leave and went to Wild Wild Wet after Joshua's "strong" persuade. I just thought I might be a little over-grown for this - sorry Eun I know you love going there...but you know what I mean, don't you? So anyway, with my new expensive tankini from Robinson which has earned me a free bath robe (worth $20!!!) by the grace of God, I thought there's something motivating for me to go now. Well, that's how vain I can get...and now you know!

So I had been praying to God for a fantastic weather - one with no sun and no rain - and I testify that Daddy God has been faithful and He really loves me. That afternoon, the weather was indeed just the way I wanted it to be! But poor Josh, he was really disappointed 'cos he really wanted to have some tan! I guessed God must have love me more (opps!).

Anyway, we started off by relaxing ourselves - we sat in this huge float - along Shiok River - which spanned 335 metres in length. So very slowly and sleepily, I drifted on this river with Josh, at the same time realising that I could be one of the few adults together with Josh, who's there for our own fun! The rest were either youngsters in their school PE attires or parents with their kids or babies! I just prayed, "Lord, let no one recognise me hor!"

After the slow drift, we went to had the Ular-Lah ride. It's actually a raft slide that seemed scary to me at first but then it was actually quite amusing...

Thereafter, we had the Waterworks which comes in open and covered body slides, each with its own unique route and distinctive angles. One thing I hate about this ride was that when I finally landed into the pool, the water would get into my nose. Argh!

We headed to Tsunami next where we sat in a huge float once again and ride on the "choppy", "swelling" and "dangerous" currents. It was there that I felt a little seasick and the sky started to turn dark. Soon, heavy raindrops fell and poor Josh still wanted to play! There was another ride that we had not play and I think Josh was really disappointed this time.

So even though it rained, the unsettling Josh still wanted a dip in the jacuzzi pool. We went for a dip for a while and when the rain got heavier, we left. All in all, we played for an hour and I thought, cool, it's not as bad as I thought it was...but I doubt I'll be there if I was going to pay for the tickets. It's $15.50 per adult entry! Thanks to Josh, he had free tickets so we paid nothing. For the overall experience on the rides there, I think it's 5.5/10. Not somewhere one had to go, but a good place to try if you have no where else to play! Great for families with children though!

On a final note, thanks Josh for bringing me there.
So are we going to the zoo next???
